About This Material

A collection of quizzes that will help assess learners’ digital skills readiness for transition to post-secondary studies and provide suggested resources to support digital skills acquisition if needed.

Included are four quizzes:

  • Microsoft Word Assessment for Students

  • Microsoft PowerPoint Assessment for Students

  • Microsoft Excel Assessment for Students

  • Digital Skills Quiz

Also included are facilitator guides and instructions on how to include the quizzes on your Learning Management System (LMS).

This site helps learners self-assess their ability to use technologies to complete their daily tasks. It also supports information literacy through quizzes on online security, etiquette, digital plagiarism, and learning management tools.

Instructors can ask students to complete a quiz at the beginning of the course to assess if they have the digital technology skills they’ll need.

These assessments will help learners see if they have the digital technology skills they need in their post-secondary program.
